K-4 Update

While Mrs. Jones is on maternity leave we will put her class post on the school blog.

We celebrated Cait's birthday today. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Liggett for feeding our class and teachers at lunch today. Happy Birthday Cait!
We began celebrating Dr. Seuss Week in honor of his birthday. Today the students made "Cat in the Hat" Hats with strawberries and bananas. They also had red fish in blue (water) jello.

Read Across America

Some Troy University football players visited our school today. They read Dr. Seuss books to the students and some went to Chapel with the older students. Second and third grades were read to by Tyler Parker,(#31), and Brandon Timmons (#90). Taylor Edwards (#66) read to first grade. Nick McLaughlin (#46) visited Mrs. Waldrop's K-5 class. Mrs. Jones' K-4 was read to by Lonnie Helton. Jarvis Bentley (#3) wowed K-3.
