Open House Rescheduled

Due to the forecasted weather on Tuesday, we are moving the open house to Tuesday, February 4 at 6:00 – 7:30pm. Please spread the word. Please make the correction on any flyers you have posted.

Grandparents Day

Grandparent’s Day is February 14^th this year.  Because of time constraints, we are asking that you or your child invite his/her grandparents, or other important individuals in his life, to the festivities for the day. So that proper planning can be accomplished, each child should provide his/her teacher with the number of visitors he expects to come and celebrate with him. Parents are also welcome to attend. 

     Refreshments will be offered in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.  In order to offset expenses, please send $3.00 if you have one student in school or $5.00 if you have two students in school to his or her teacher no later than Monday, February 3^rd.  The program will begin at 10:30 AM in the Church Sanctuary with a performance by the students.  It should be great fun!

The program will conclude around 11:00 AM, and school will dismiss at that time.  If your child is permitted to leave the school with someone other than you, the parent(s)/guardian(s), please return the permission slip sent home giving the name of the individual with whom he may leave and return it to the teacher no later than Monday, February 3^rd.  This is for your child’s safety.  If your child is not leaving with his/her grandparents or other special person who came to the activities, you will need to make alternative arrangements for his/her care for the afternoon.  Mrs. Gunter will not be available for after-school care that day.  All students will need to depart the school no later than program’s end.

We will meet in the library at 6:00 Tuesday night plan activities for the rest of the year.

Open House 2014

Covenant Christian School is having an open house for K3 through fourth grade on Tuesday, January 28, 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Covenant Christian School has dedicated Christian teachers, small classes, an extensive library, and a Bible based curriculum. Covenant Christian School is located behind First Presbyterian Church, facing University Avenue.
